Siem Reap - Day 3

Finally we visited Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, the two main sites. Angkor Wat is huge and relatively better preserved than all the others we've seen. In Angkor Thom we went to Bayon, a temple with faces carved on its towers. Very cool.
At the end of the day, I report improvement on my cold, but had stomach aches all day. Simon hit his head trying to get through a temple's door. It sounded as if some ruins were falling down. I got worried. For the ruins, of course; we all know how hard it is to preserve these ancient relics. Simon showed minor scratches. Bottom line, the team is facing some physical headwinds, but the spirit is intact.
Tomorrow Saturday morning we'll catch a direct Air Asia flight to Kuala Lumpur. Sad to leave Cambodia so soon, it has been such a nice country to travel. Siem Reap feels a little Orlando, Florida with all its developments and tours, but the people are great. Goodbye, Cambodia.
